The plan was approved by the Canaveral Port Authority Board of Commissioners by a 5-0 vote Wednesday. It includes expansion and cost estimates for the port’s cruise, shipping, spaceport and recreation infrastructure.
The renovation yielded larger facility, longer pier, new mobile boarding bridges & new parking garage. The transformed facility opened in June 2016. The terminal will host Carnival Valor and Carnival Sunshine.
Goal: Public Education to Stop Estuary Damage & Spur Changes for Improvement to preserve and protect this valuable economic asset.
The newest Carnival ship to sail from Port Canaveral, joining Carnival Victory and Carnival Valor on year-round departures from Florida’s Space Coast.
According to Fitch, the rating is attributed to Port Canaveral’s established operating history, cost management, sustained tourism-related revenue growth and corresponding favorable operating contracts.
